Blast off to the 2016 Summer Matters Leadership Conference

This FREE conference will give you the opportunity to redefine summer with activities that are meaningful, support mastery and expand horizons. The goal of the conference is to provide tools and resources empowering you to deliver the highest quality program possible and is brought to you by the Summer Matters campaign and Cal SAC.

The 2016 Summer Matters Leadership Conference is designed for K-12 district administrators, program directors, managers, and site coordinators, and any other personnel who are responsible for planning, designing, and/or managing a summer learning program. It will host various Bay Area presenters with topics including: Staff Development, Common Core State Standards Integration, Fundraising, Program Spirit, and Social-Emotional Learning.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Public Transportation – The conference location has multiple bus lines that stop nearby. From the Coliseum Bart Station, Bus line 98 will take you to 85th Avenue and International Blvd.  Bus line 1 runs International Blvd and stops at 85th Avenue.  Bus line 1R runs International Blvd and stops at 82nd Avenue.  Walk 3 blocks to 85th Avenue (go to www.actransit.org for schedules.)

Driving directions from Richmond, San Francisco, Concord or Walnut Creek are available upon request.

Parking – Please use the FREE parking lot 4, which is on International Blvd at 85th Ave., across the street from the church.  There is additional parking on 86th Avenue in Lots 2 and 3.

PLEASE NOTE:  The main church parking lot (lot 1) is reserved for church staff and visitors and not open for conference participants.

Where do we meet in the morning?

Registration opens and breakfast will be available at the church at 8:00 AM, in the Multi-Purpose Gymnasium/Community Room, Building D. Entrance is off 86th Ave, facing main parking lot 1. We will begin our opening session at 8:30 AM.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?
